Autumn Inspired Hello

Hi crafty friends! Happy Monday!
Today I would like to share with you a cute little card featuring the adorable stamp, Diana - Sweater Weather from Stamp Annie Thing.

I made my A2 card base from some Kraft cardstock. I layered a yellow strip of cardstock to some fun plaid paper, wrapped it with some hemp twine and attached it to my card base. I stamped out that sweet girl, Diana ~ Sweater Weather with some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her in with my Copics. I stamped my greeting and used some rectangle dies from Jaded Blossom to cut her out and attached my image to my card front with some foam tape. I added a few leaves from the Jaded Blossom Fall banner dies to the bottom corner, along with some Nuvo drops. I think she is so adorable!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

and here is my take on the sketch:

For my card, I started by making my A2 cardbase from some Kraft Cardstock. I layered some fun patterned papers on top, using some scraps from an older 6x6 paper pad. I stamped my greeting and added some fun doodling to my card. I cut out that adorable little moose from the Holiday Set 1 from SVG Cutting Files, and added her to the front and finished off my card with some Nuvo drops in White and Honey Gold. So super cute!!!

Sketch N Scrap #141

Hey crafty friends!!
Happy Wednesday!
Today starts a new sketch challenge over at

Just in case you don't already know, Sketch N Scrap is a sketch challenge blog that offers layout and card sketches each month! Layout sketches are posted on the 1st and 15th of each month and card sketches are posted on the 5th and 20th of each month.

Here is a look at the second layout sketch of the month provided to us by Heather:

here is my take on the above sketch:

This layout was really fun to work on. My daughter and I have very similar taste in music and love a lot of the same bands, so when Panic! At The Disco was coming, we knew we had to not only go but meet the guys. The first two pics are of us before the Meet n Greet started and then the bottom photo is a pic of my daughter with the band. I made this for her layout display in her room so I will probably make another layout of me with the band for mine. I have to say, they are some of the funnest & nicest guys and we really had a great time, not only meeting them but at the concert later that evening, they put on an amazing show!! This layout was a little messier than I'm used to but I enjoyed actually using some of the mists that I have been collecting over the years for the splatters  lol!! I also typed up the setlist, trimmed it up and distressed it a bit before adding it to the pocket. The tickets are an older stamp and punch set from SU!. I cut out the title using my Cricut and the arrow embellishment is a combination of some stamps from MFT and MCT. I finished off the layout with some doodling and a few Nuvo drops.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and take a look at my latest creation!
I appreciate it so much!

Santa Ornament Card

Hey crafty friends!
Today is my day to post over on the SVG Cutting Files blog and I will be showcasing a new file that will be in the store Friday called, Ornament Santa.

I created a shaped card by die cutting glitter cardstock using some rectangle dies from Jaded Blossom. I stamped a tree branch onto some white cardstock and used a stitched rectangle die, also Jaded Blossom, to cut it out and layered that on top of my card base. I added that sweet Ornament Santa (isn't he cute??) to my card and added some gold thread so that he appears to be hanging from the branch. I used the text tool in my Cricut and typed out Believe and cut it out with some more glitter paper. I finished off my card with some clear sequins and a couple of drops of gold stickles. So sparkly and pretty!

Be sure to check out the SVG Cutting Files Blog daily, there is so much inspiration there!!

Stamp Annie Thing Theme Week #23

Hey crafty friends!
Today kicks off the start of a new Theme Week Challenge for Stamp Annie Thing!!!
This challenge is all about Plaid!!

I love plaid!!

I created my card base from some Kraft cardstock and layered it with some dark orange cardstock. I added another layer of kraft, topped with some plaid cardstock and a little border of blue and wrapped some crochet thread around, tied off with a bow. I added a blue stitched oval to the center of my card front. I love this Molly - Sunflower stamp. I mean she's adorable right?? I colored her up with my Copic markers and popped her up with some foam tape onto the blue oval. I finished off my card with a bit more plaid paper in the top corner with the ends flagged.

Here's how to play in the challenge:
--Create a new Mad About Plaid project
--Share your creation at our Facebook group HERE by December 8, 2017
