Haunted House Treat Box

Hi crafty friends!
Today I would like to share a project that I created using some fabulous dies and stamps that can be found in the Dies R Us Store

Today is my last post as a design team member for the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog. It has been fun and a big Thank You for allowing me to be a part of the team!

I decided to make a adorable little Halloween treat tote for my last project.
It cut out all the pieces that I thought I might use from the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box die and the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add On Die.

After all the pieces were cut out, it was simply a matter of putting the box together and adding all the fun little pieces to decorate the box and turn it into a haunted house.

Here is my finished result:

This is the front of the box. I cut the ghost out of vellum to give it a more "ghostly" feel. You can see the little ghost much better in person. I tucked it in a little bit behind the door, almost like he is welcoming you inside. I added a sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Costume Party Stamp Set and popped that up with foam tape onto the roof. I added a fun little bow to the top.

This a a look at the back and one of the sides. For the web and spider, I used the Lawn Fawn Cute Cobweb Die set. I added a bit of sparkle to the spider, bats and windows.

Here is a look at the other side. I think this turned out so incredibly cute!! It is waiting to be filled with some yummy treats!!

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Thanks For Being My Spider Killer

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a marvelous Monday!!
Today I have a super cute little 3D project to share with you that I made for my hubby.

I think this sentiment and spider are so cute! I used the Gable Box die from Jaded Blossom to create this fun little box. I colored the spider from the Spidey Senses stamp set, also from JB, with my Copics and added her to the front of my box with an action wobble. I used a border punch for the fun web along the top and just free hand drew the line down from the web. I stamped my greeting and used the Label Shape dies to cut it out and closed my box with a bit of purple tulle. So easy and fast to put together and it gave my hubby a chuckle when I gave it to him today lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Ahoy Mate!

Hey crafty friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!
Today I wanted to pop in and share a cute little card that I made this morning for the current sketch challenge over at the MFT Card Challenges blog.
Here is a look at the fun sketch for this week:

and here is a look at the card I created:

I started off with a white A2 card base and adhered a white panel that I inked up with distress ink and cut out using a stitched die to the front. I used the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges for my "sand" and cut it out from some Kraft cardstock. I colored up those cute little pirates from the Party Like A Pirate stamp set, cut it out with my Scan N Cut 2 and popped them up onto my card with some foam tape. I added the treasure chest and a few gold sequins. I added my greeting onto a strip of white cardstock and curled the ends a bit for some dimension. So super cute!!

Candy Corn Halloween Card

Hi crafty friends!
Today I would like to share a project that I created using some fabulous dies and stamps that can be found in the Dies R Us Store

I'm really looking forward to Halloween so I felt the need to make a Halloween themed card. It's my favorite holiday to craft for. What's yours? I also really love all the candy involved with Halloween if I'm being honest haha! It's a definite bonus!! We typically buy candy pretty early here and then are so tired of it by the time the big day arrives that one lucky trick or treater normally ends up with whatever is left in our bowl at the end of the night.

When I saw these cute Candy Corn Add On's for the How You Bean set from Lawn Fawn, I knew they needed a special place in my house. Here is the card that I created to share with you today:

This was so super simple to put together and really quite easy which would make it pretty great if you had to mass produce them. I created my A2 card base with some black cardstock and added some fun orange polka dot paper on top. I used the Stitched Journaling Card die from Lawn Fawn and cut out a piece from white and black cardstock, cut off a strip of the black and adhered it to the white to give the illusion of a shelf/counter. I stamped out that fun little mason jar from the How You Bean? stamp set and added the candy corns from the How You Bean Candy Corn Add On to the center. I wrapped some baker's twine around my jar and added it to my card front. I used the Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add On to cut out a couple of bats to add to my card. I heat embossed my greeting in white onto some black cardstock, notched the end and popped it up with some foam tape. I added an enamel dot to finish it off. I love how it turned out!! Candy corn with no guilt or calories?? Win!

Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch #106

Hey crafty friends!!
Happy Wednesday!!
Today starts a new card sketch challenge over at
Here is a look at the second card sketch for September courtesy of Lisa:

Here is my take on the sketch:

Yep! Halloween on the brain! lol! I went looking through my paper pads and found one that had some fun bright colors as well as a silver glittery paper scrap. I layered the patterned papers on my card and then stamped my greeting onto some white cardstock, layered it on top of some black cardstock and then popped it up with foam tape. I finished it off with some silver stars. So super easy but I think it turned out great!! It's pretty flat too so gotta love that when it comes time to mail it :)

I appreciate it so much!

Hey crafty peeps!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!
Today I am back with another card to share with you that I made with a couple of challenges in mind. Two days in a row of posting?? I hope that means my mojo is back!!

The challenges that I am sharing my card in are:

and

Here is a look at the card that I created for the above challenges:

I cut out some patterned paper with leaves and some Kraft cardstock using the Card Mat Dies from Jaded Blossom. I cut off a portion of the patterned paper and layered it on top of my Kraft cardstock, matching up the stitching. I embossed my greeting with white embossing powder onto some orange cardstock, layered it onto some teal cardstock and added it to my card. I wrapped some twine around, tied a bow and then added everything to my card base. I stamped out that sweet little girl from Stamp Anniething and colored her in with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored in, I cut her out using my Scan N Cut 2 and popped her up onto the front of my card with more foam tape. I finished off my card with a few sequins. I think she is absolutely adorable!!

A Harvest of Blessings

Hey crafty friends!
I hope you are having a marvelous Monday!
It's raining off and on in my area so that makes it a perfect day to try and get some crafting done right? I was able to pull out some supplies and make a quick little card for a few challenges.

I started out with a cream colored A2 card base. I cut out a scalloped layer from some blue cardstock using a die from MFT (all supplies are listed at the bottom of this post). I used another die from MFT for my cream top panel and layered a fence and some rolling hills on top. I stamped out my images and colored them in with my Copics and paper pieced his little sweater. I stamped my greeting at the top with some brown ink and placed my mouse and apples on the panel. I wrapped some twine around the bottom and adhered my image panel on top of the blue scalloped piece.

The challenges I will be entering this card into are:

Layout Sketch #137:

Here is a look at the layout I created based on the sketch:

I came across this photo that I took of my hubby and son last year and knew I needed to put it on a layout so I could display it in the living room this year. I pulled some papers from the Thrilling Collection from Authentique and a few Halloween embellishments that I had in my stash. Envelope Punch Board Tote

Hey crafty friends!
I hope you are all having a marvelous day!
I have been struggling a bit lately with my crafty mojo. I can't seem to find it. :(
I've looked everywhere! lol! Since I can't seem to get the creative juices flowing lately, I decided to try a tutorial from Split Coast Stampers that I have had bookmarked for awhile, called
Envelope Punch Board Tote. ( <<< clickable link for tutorial). They are super cute and could be made for any type of occasion. I thought they would be perfect for a little Halloween treat.

Here are the ones that I made:

Each tote takes one piece of  6x6 paper. I thought that was pretty cool! I have a ton of that lol! I decided to take 2 sheets of patterned paper from a Doodlebug 6x6 pad to make mine. After I had the totes made, I stamped out some images from an older Stampin' Up set (not sure if it is still available), punched them out with a circle punch and layered them onto a black die cut circle. I added some google eyes for a bit of whimsy and popped up the image piece with some foam tape onto the front of my bag. I closed my bags with a little bit of tulle tied in a simple knot.

I decided to fold the side flaps down on mine and secured them with a little bit of wet glue and added a sparkly enamel dot for a little decoration.

Inside I was able to fit two fun size candies in each one.

Have you ever lost your crafty mojo? What or where do you go for crafty inspiration?

I will be entering my project into the anything goes challenge over at

Hey Jack!

Hey crafty friends!
I hope you are all having a wonderful Monday!
Today I wanted to stop in and share a fun little 3D project that I made to add to my Halloween home decor this year.

I decided to cut out this sweet little Jack O Lantern from the Haunted Forest set by SVGcuts.com .

I pulled papers from various stacks and my stash of loose cardstock and started building the pumpkin as well as decorating. I added some blingy ribbon to the hat brim for a little sparkle and added a big brad to the center of my flower. It still looked like it needed a little something though so I took some thin wire, curled it, added some bats and adhered it to the inside if my hat with some hot glue.

I think he turned out so incredibly cute! I added a little electronic tea light that runs on a timer to the inside and already have him displayed in my living room hehe! Too early??

I will be entering this project into the following challenges:

Jump For Joy

Hi crafty friends!
Today I would like to share a project that I created using some fabulous dies and stamps that can be found in the Dies R Us Store

I'm really looking forward to Fall so I felt the need to make a Fall themed card.
Haha!

I created my card base from some Kraft cardstock and layered some fun patterned paper on top. I then started building my scene onto a piece of white cardstock. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders for my grassy hill and some distress inks to make the sky a light blue. I stamped out that sweet little fox and all those leaves from Lawn Fawn's Jump For Joy Stamp Set, colored them with my Copic markers and then used the Jump For Joy Dies to cut my images out. I think it turned out so super cute!!

Here is a quick peek (with links) at the products that I used on my project that can be found in the Dies R Us Store.
