Stay Beautiful!

Happy Friday!!
I hope you have some fun plans for the upcoming weekend :)
Maybe some crafting?? :)

Today I have a card to share with you that I created that used the new
Florals stamp set from Pink & Main.

I am absolutely 100% in love with the beautiful flowers that are in the Florals stamp set. For my card, I did a lot of masking so that I could create the floral frame going around my card.  It took a little time to do this but I thought the end result was worth it. The dots are also in the Florals set. I simply used one of the flower centers to create the polka dots. I stamped my greeting onto some white card stock and then used a spellbinder die to cut it out as well as the pink layer behind it.  I popped up my greeting layer with a bit of foam adhesive. I added some glossy accents to a few of the flower centers and some wink of stella to my card but I don't think the picture picked it up very well. I finished off my card with a few randomly placed clear sequins.

For my card, I cut out that adorable ice cream cone from the Ice Cream Cuties set from KaDoodle Bug Designs and I layered a greeting from the Ice Cream Social stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps on top. I added a few sequins and some cute little peachy keen faces and of course some ribbon and my card was pretty much done.

Enjoy the ride!

Happy Friday!!!

Today I am back with another project for Pink & Main.
I am loving these stamps and having so much fun!!

For my card today, I have a fun card that uses one of the new stamp sets called,

I am very afraid of heights so I would probably never get into a hot air balloon, even though they look so fun and pretty up in the sky. haha! With that being said, I am happy sitting with my feet touching the floor and stamping some fun hot air balloons :)  For my card, I found some fun cloud pattern paper in my stash that I have had for awhile now. The colors on the clouds, inspired the colors I used on my balloon. I stamped onto some pink cardstock using versamark ink and then used some white embossing powder to get those bright white stripes for my balloon. I stamped and fussy cut that adorable little banner and then placed that onto the front of my balloon. I added a bit of wink of stella and some rhinestones for a little shimmer. I also added a bit of glossy accents to that little heart on the basket. I added a greeting that is also in the Hot Air Balloon stamp set to the bottom of my card and then finished it off with a fun border and some ribbon.

Card Harmony -- Fintastic Friends

Happy happy Monday!!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Today Kimberly and I are back with another Card Harmony post.
Here is a link to my blog post last month that tells a little bit about what Card Harmony is all about.
We basically take turns purchasing stamps each month and then we both make a card using the same stamp set to see how alike or different our cards turn out. We add a little twist each month though to make it a little more challenging.

This month we are using the stamp set Fintastic Friends from Lawn Fawn, with the added twist of incorporating embossing (dry or wet) onto our project.

Here is the card that I created:

For my card,  I wanted some bright colors so I used some patterned paper from the Take Note paper pad from Doodlebug and added a fun little border along the bottom of my card with a border punch and white card stock. I didn't have any orange twine, so I took some Totally White Trendy Twine and used the same orange Copic that I used for my fish to color the twine. I love how it matched perfectly! I added a white strip that I embossed using my swiss dots embossing folder and added that to the center of my card. I stamped my little scene onto some Neenah card stock and then colored the image with my Copics. I used a circle die from My Creative Time to cut out my image layer as well as a frame to go around it. I finished off my card by adding some small paper circles and adding glossy accents to them to give them the appearance of being enamel dots. For my greeting, I used some VersaMark ink and Hero Arts white embossing powder. I am so happy with the way my card turned out! I hope Kimberly likes it :)

I am entering this card into the Lawnscaping Challenge: Embossing

Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog, Kimberly's Crafty Spot to see the awesome card that she made!! Here is a little sneak peek of her card:

A Summer Hello

Happy Monday!!
Today I have a super fun and bright card to share with you
that screams summer to me!! I love all of the bright colors of summer, whether it is clothing, flowers, sunglasses, etc.

When I saw the Flamingo in the Tropical Birds set from KaDoodle Bug Designs, I just knew I had to make a card using him.

How fun is that Flamingo?? After I cut him out, I took one of my Copics and outlined all the pink parts on my bird to add a little dimension and popped up the wing using some foam adhesive. I cut out a oval and some grass from some My Creative Time dies and then added my flamingo. I added the Hello and then used some glossy accents to make it shine a bit. Those flowers are also from the Tropical Birds set.  I simply cut out a few and then staggered them along the bottom.

Did you know that KaDoodle Bug Designs now has a blog?

Geek Is Chic!

Hi there and happy Friday!!

I'm so happy to announce that I am now a part of the Pink & Main DT family :)
Today is my first official post and for my card I used one of the new stamp sets titled

Owls have a special place in my heart and I just can't seem to get enough of them!
Especially the little cuties in the Owl Nerds set. They are all absolutely adorable!!

Here is a look at the card I created:

For my card, I stamped a few of the pencils, masking along the way to hide some behind each other to create a little pile and then colored them with my copics. After I stamped and colored the little owl, I fussy cut him out and perched him on top of the pencils. I added them to a die cut circle and popped it up with some foam adhesive to the front of my card.  I applied some Glossy Accents to the lenses to give the appearance of glass. For my greeting, I used some black embossing powder and heat embossed it. I finished off my card with some red Trendy Twine and a few enamel dots.
