Fluttering By To Say Happy Birthday

Happy Sunday crafty friends!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

Today I have a card to share with you that I made for the

Here is the card sketch for this challenge:

Here is the card that I created based on the above sketch:

When I was going through my card stash, I realized that I was almost completely out of birthday cards. I decided I would make a birthday themed card for this month's challenge. For my patterned papers, I used the Coral Couture Matstack from DCWV. I love the pretty colors and the patterns that are in this stack! The inside of the card reads, "Happy Birthday".

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Card Harmony --- Gift Tags with Lawn Fawn & Mama Elephant

Happy Monday!
I hope your weekend was fabulous and that your day is off to a great start!

Today Kimberly and I are back with another Card Harmony post.
Here is a link to my blog post that tells a little bit about what Card Harmony is all about.
We basically take turns purchasing stamps each month and then we both make a card using the same stamp set to see how alike or different our cards turn out. We add a little twist each month though to make it a little more challenging.

This month our twist was to make 4 tags (one tag with each stamp set).

Here is my tag for the Lawn Fawn Winter Alpaca set:

For this tag, I used some embossing paste and the snowfall stencil from MFT to create my snowy background on my blue cardstock. I then used the Scallop Waves Dies from Pink & Main to create my snow hills. I colored that cute little Alpaca from Lawn Fawn with my copics and used the coordinating die to cut it out and popped it up with some foam adhesive. I finished off my tag with a bow cut from the Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow die from MCT and some white ribbon.

The second tag that I created was with the Winter Penguin stamp from Lawn Fawn:

For this tag, I cut out my base from a Spellbinders die, left it in place after it was cut and masked it off a little and did a little inking to create my skyline. I then stamped and colored in that adorable little penguin with my copics and added a few dots to his scarf with my white gel pen. My greeting came from the Oh Snap set from Lawn Fawn. I added a few sequins as well as some glossy accent dots and then added some twine to tie to the package.

For my 3rd tag, I used the Snow Day stamp set from Lawn Fawn:

I once again used a spellbinder die to create my tag base. I added some faux stitching all the way around the green layer with my white gel pen. I stamped the tree and bird and colored them with my copics. I then cut out another tag from white and tore it and added some glitter for snow. I colored the bunny and then fussy cut him out and placed him onto the tag. I finished off my tag by adding some twine and bling to the tree.

For my last tag, I used the Reindeer Games set from Mama Elephant:

For this tag, I used the tag dies from MCT and cut them out twice, once in white and again in red glitter cardstock. I added the word JOY by diecutting it out from a die by Paper Sweeties. I cut out a scalloped circle from red glitter and layered a white circle on top. I stamped that absolutely adorable little reindeer, colored in with my copics and then die cut it out and popped him up with some foam tape. I added a few sequins, ribbon and twine to finish it off.

Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog, Kimberly's Crafty Spot
to see the tags that she made!!
I bet they are fabulous (like all her projects :) )!!

Friends Warm the Coldest of Days

Hey guys!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend!
Today we had a lot of family fun time and some Christmas activities. I made a card last night for the sketch challenge over at MFT Card Challenges and was able to get a picture of it today, thankfully cause there isn't much time left on the challenge :)

Here is a look at the sketch for the challenge #259:

Here is the card that I created based on the above sketch:

I think this little girl from the Warmest Wishes set is just adorable! I colored her with my copics and then used the corresponding die to cut her out.  For my sky, I used the Snowfall stencil and some embossing paste to create a snowy sky. Before I applied my paste to my card, I mixed in some glitter so that my snowflakes would shimmer. I cut out my snow drifts using a die from Pink & Main called Scallop Waves Dies.

Christmas Cheer

Happy Friday Crafty Friends!!
I hope you are having a wonderful day so far!

Today I am back with another Christmas card that features a fun little quote from the
Christmas Quotes stamp set from Pink & Main!

Elf is one of my favorite Christmas movies so when I saw the quote from Buddy The Elf in the Christmas Quotes stamp set, I knew I needed to make a card using it. For my elf, I used a SVG from a past Christmas Movies blog hop by SVGcutting files. I think this card is so cute!

Snowflake Christmas Card

Hey everyone!
I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!

Today I have a simple but pretty Christmas card that I made for a few challenges.
The first challenge is the December Card Sketch challenge over at Scrapbook.com.
I made my card using sketch #3 which is this one by Susan Stringfellow:

Here is the card that I created based on the above sketch:

My card was pretty simple once I had the papers I wanted to use all picked out. For that, I used some pattern papers that I have had in my stash for awhile now and am trying to use them up. I matched up some of my solid cardstock to the colors in the patterns and got busy layering up my card. Once I had all my layers on my card, I added some faux stitching with my gel pen. I used a snowflake die from My Creative Time to cut out my snowflake and then adhered glitter all over the flake. I added some bling, that I have also had for awhile, onto my snowflake and to the bottom and top corners of my card. I finished off my card with some twine.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

A Christmas Moose

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous Saturday!

Today I wanted to share with you a cute little card that I made for a couple of challenges.
The first challenge is the December Card Sketch challenge (there are 5 total sketches plus a bonus)  over at Scrapbook.com.
I used sketch #4, which is an older sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenges 239:

Here is the card that I created based on the above sketch:

I love this little Moose from MFT stamps!! I think he is absolutely adorable!! I colored him in with my copics and added a bit of glossy accents to the star on the tree. I finished off my card with a few glittered enamel dots.

I will also be entering this card into the following challenges:

Sweet Holiday Wishes

Happy Friday Crafty Friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!

Today I am back with another Christmas card that features

For my card today, I based my design on the following sketch from Tsunami Rose:

Here is the card that I created based on the above sketch:

I love that little gingerbread man from the Cocoa Kisses stamp set so I knew I wanted to make something with him. I stamped him onto some kraft cardstock and red cardstock. I fussy cut him out of the kraft and then cut only the bow out of the red. I glued the bow onto him and then applied some liquid applique onto him for the icing. I love the way the liquid applique looks! Once I had him like I wanted him, I started building all the layers of my card. I added a bunch of faux stitching to the solid red cardstock pieces and added a few sequins for a bit of sparkle. I stamped my sentiment, also from the Cocoa Kisses set, with some green ink and fussy cut that out and placed that at the top of my card. I absolutely love how it turned out, I just think it is so fun and whimsical!

Merry Christmas Snowflake Card

Hey everyone! I hope your Wednesday is going great!
Today I have a card to share with you that I made for a couple of different challenges.

The first challenge is for the December Card Sketch Challenge over at Scrapbook.com. My card was based off of sketch #5, which is this sketch:

Here is the card that I created based on the above sketch:

For my card, I used some awesome snowflakes from the Snow Sweet stamp set by Pink & Main and heat embossed them in white onto some white cardstock. Then I took 3 different distress inks and blended them all together over my snowflakes. I adhered that panel onto some silver glitter cardstock and attached that to my card base. For my greeting, I heat embossed a greeting from Lawn Fawn with some silver embossing powder, notched the ends and popped it up onto my card with some foam adhesive. Super easy and it is so much prettier in person. My picture definitely did not capture all the shimmer and sparkle. Sorry about that.

The other challenges I am entering my card into are:

Holly

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great day so far!

Today I am back to share with you a Christmas card that I created using the Holly stamp set from Pink & Main.

I love making center step cards, so I knew I wanted to make one for Christmas. One of the things I love about this type of card, besides the fun fold, is that your image really seems to be front and center and this cute little girl definitely deserves the spotlight. After I had her all colored in with my Copics, I used the coordinating Holly Die to cut her out. I popped her up with some foam tape for a little added dimension. I stamped the greeting, also from the Holly stamp set, onto a piece of white cardstock, popped it up on the bottom of my card and then added the little holly leaves on each side to help frame the greeting.

What's Cookin'?

Hi crafty friends!
I hope you are having a fabulous Friday and that your Thanksgiving was awesome!

Today I am back to share with you a super fun little card that I created using one of the new stamps that was released this month from Pink & Main called, What's Cookin'.

I think this little chef is so incredibly cute! I could not wait to get him all colored up and onto a card. For my card, I used a white card base and layered onto that a piece of red card stock and black cardstock. I then adhered some fun red gingham pattern paper from DCWV. I cut another piece of red cardstock and punched the bottom with a border punch and added some black plaid ribbon and a bow. I stamped the greeting from the What's Cookin' stamp set to the upper left corner and then added some white stitching with my white gel pen. I popped that layer onto the card front with some foam tape. I stamped the little chef from the What's Cookin' stamp set onto some white cardstock and colored him in with my Copics. Once I had him colored in, I used the What's Cookin' die to cut him out. I them popped him up with some more foam tape. I finished off my card with some bling in the corners and some white accents on the chef with my gel pen.

Yeah, We're Good Like That

Hi crafty friends!
Enjoying your Friday? I hope so :)

Today I am back to share another fun card using those awesome Pink & Main stamps.
I decided to make my hubby a little card to stick in his lunch box and the November Free with $30 Purchase stamp set called, Good Like That was perfect!

My hubby loves his coffee and donuts in the morning so this was just too perfect not to make him a little card. I stamped the images onto some Simon Says Stamp cardstock with Memento ink and then colored them in with my Copics. For the sprinkles on the donut, I used some distress ink and they smeared just a bit when I layered some glossy accents onto the top but I ended up really liking how that looked so it was a happy accident :)  I popped the sentiment up with some foam tape.

"Yeah, we're good like that".....I love it!! So fun! I think my hubby will get a kick out of it also when he sees it :)

Card Harmony --- Thankful Mice

Happy Monday!
I hope your weekend was fabulous and that your day is off to a great start!

Today Kimberly and I are back with another Card Harmony post.
Here is a link to my blog post that tells a little bit about what Card Harmony is all about.
We basically take turns purchasing stamps each month and then we both make a card using the same stamp set to see how alike or different our cards turn out. We add a little twist each month though to make it a little more challenging.

This month we are using the stamp set from Lawn Fawn titled, Thankful Mice.
The added challenge was that we needed to make a 3D project.
Pretty much anything except for a card.

Here is the project that I created:

I decided to make a cute little box and fill it with some sweet treats for Kimberly. To make my box, I used the Baker's Box Thinlet die from SU!. After my box was made, I stamped those cute little mice, colored them and the used the coordinating Thankful Mice dies to cut them out. I cut out the circle and scalloped circle from some more dies and then layered that all together and popped it up onto the front of the box with some foam tape. For my greeting, I stamped the "Give Thanks" greeting that is also in the Thankful Mice set with some versamark ink and heat embossed it with some white embossing powder. I added some fun ribbon to hold my box closed. I also added a button and a hemp bow. I cut out some leaves from the Small Stitched Leaves from Lawn Fawn and glued those to the underside of the button. I finished off my box with some clear and gold sequins.

Be sure to check out Kimberly's blog, Kimberly's Crafty Spot
to see the project that she made!!
It is fabulous!! I love it so much!!

I love you AND pie!!

Hey there!
Happy Friday!!

Today I am back to share with you a card that uses one of the new stamp sets in the November release from Pink & Main called, Baker.

There are so many cute images in this Baker set, that it was really hard for me to not use all of them! lol! Recently we went to an orchard and did a little apple picking. Needless to say, we picked way to many apples. My husband loves homemade apple pie and so my daughter has been practicing making them. He loves that lol! Anywho, that is one of the first things that came to my mind when I saw this stamp set. I stamped all of my images onto some scrap pattern papers and paper pieced all the images. I love the look the paper piecing gave and I was able to use up some scraps so it was a win win! The greeting can also be found in the Baker set. The steam and the little heart came from the Latte Love set.

Merry and Bright

Hey everyone and Happy Veteran's Day!!
Thank you to all the men and women who have sacrificed and served our country!

Today I am stopping in real quick to share with you a card that I made for a couple of challenges.
I am playing along in the November Card Sketch Challenge over at Scrapbook.com and there are 5 different sketchs as well as a bonus sketch. The card I made today is for Sketch #1 and is the sketch from The Sweet Stop: SSS171

Here is the card I created based on the above sketch:

I love these little images in the Snow Day set from Lawn Fawn so I knew I wanted to color them up for this card. I also used the Snow Day 6x6 paper pad for all of my pattern papers. The stitched snow hill came from the Scallop Waves Dies from Pink & Main. I simply cut out three circles from some circle dies and then cut out my little hills with the Scallop Waves Die so that they would fit on top of the circle perfectly. I tucked the tree behind the first little hill and then popped up the front hill with some foam tape and added that cute little bunny and bird. I colored everything with my Copic markers.

Believe

Hey everyone!
Happy Tuesday! I hope your day is going smoothly!

Today I have a simple, yet pretty card to share with you that I made for a couple of challenges.

A few weeks ago I went to the Stamp Scrap Art Show and had a blast!! I saw this cute little Believe word die at the Paper Sweeties Booth and had to have it! I was so happy to have some time to play with it. I kept my card pretty simple so that it was easy to mail and I really wanted the focus to be on the BELIEVE. That is one of my favorite words during the holidays. I created an A2 card base out of white cardstock. I popped up a layer of red glitter cardstock with some foam adhesive onto the base. I then layered another piece of white cardstock onto the red glitter cardstock. I cut out the Believe from the red glitter cardstock and then stamped and fussy cut out the santa hat from the Toboggan Together stamp set from Lawn Fawn and placed it on the corner of the B. I finished off my card with a few sequins. Even though it is simple, I think it came out so pretty and even a little elegant :)

Scooting By To Say Hello

Hi everyone and happy happy Friday!!!

Today I am back with another card using some awesome stamps from
Pink & Main!

BlogButton

I love sending out cards just to say Hi so I thought I would make another one for my stash. You can never have too many of those right?

I recently purchased some Zig Clean Color Brush Pens and have been enjoying coloring with those, even though I still have a lot to learn lol! I knew I wanted to color up this cute little scooter from the On The Go stamp set pink. I added some white enamel dots for the tire rims and some glossy accents to the handles and headlight. I added the little exhaust clouds and the greeting, also from the On The Go set. I backed it onto some black cardstock, tied a bow and then popped it up onto that fun pink polka dot paper. I finished off my card with a few black enamel dots in the top right corner and bottom left corner. I think it turned out super cute and can't wait to mail it out! Hopefully it brings a smile to the recipient. :)
