What's the Buzz? with Joy's Life Stamps

Happy Saturday!
I hope your weekend is off to a great start!
Today I will be showing you a super cute card made with the Joy's Life Stamps.

This week the design team is showcasing cards that have movement.
I decided to make a telescoping card

Here is the card opened:

These cards are so cute and so easy to make.
You can find the tutorial HERE

For my card, I cut the beehive out of the Sentimentals Cricut cartridge at 1.5". The bee was also cut from sentimentals but at 2.25". I then stamped my sentiment on the third piece and drew the flight pattern from the bee to the sentiment to give the illusion that the bee wrote the sentiment.

My sentiment came from the You're So Punny stamp set from Joy's Life Stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation! I really appreciate it!
Don't forget to check out the Joy's Life Design Team page to get more inspiration on cards that move.
I hope you have a great crafty day!

Thank Ewe card with Joy's Life Stamps

Happy Sunday!
Today I would like to share a card with you that was made
with the awesome Joy's Life stamps.
This week the designers are showcasing
 cool folds in our projects.
I decided to make a flap card.

This is what I created:

The card open:

I used the Lots of Pun Stamp Set from Joy's Life Stamps:

I cut my little lamb out of the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge at 1.75". My scalloped circle came from the Elegant Edges cartridge and was cut out at 2". I added a bow across the top of my card and then added some little Trendy Twine hair bows on my lamb. Isn't she cute?

Beautiful You!

Happy Wednesday!
Today I would like to share a card with you
that I made for the Unity Stamp Co. Challenge.
The challenge this month is to make a card using Unity/Ippity stamps
and it must have an opening/flap/window of some sort.
This is the card that I created for the challenge:

and the card opened:

I kept my card pretty simple so that the focus stayed on the colored butterfly.
I just made a circle in the bottom of the card with my circle punch and then stamped the butterfly above it and the sentiment beside it. I then stamped the butterflies again and colored one and used my scissors to cut it out and pop it up to where it peeked through the window.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and taking a look at my latest creation!
I really appreciate it!
Have a great crafty day!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend!
Today I will be showing you my project for
This week we were asked to make a project using either the You're So Punny
or

As soon as I saw this sentiment on the Wild Life Puns set, I knew what I wanted to make.

Here is my treat box opened:

And a close up of that sentiment:

For my project, I used a nugget tin and lined the bottom with some white tissue paper. I then placed some graham crackers, some fun sized Hersey bars and marshmallows. Then I made a belly band to go around the closed tin, tied a bow with some ribbon, and created a tag with my labels four nestabilites and stamped my sentiment. Voila! Super cute and that sentiment is perfect and so fun!

St. Patrick's Day Blog Hop

Happy St. Patrick's Day and welcome to the
St. Patrick's Day Blog Hop with the Joy's Life DT! I'm so glad you are here and I hope you wore green so no one pinches you today ;)

You should have arrived here from the very talented Sarabeth,
If you just happened to stumble across the hop today on my blog and would like to start at the beginning, just hop on over and see Joy at Joy's Life.

For my project, I used the Happy St. Patrick's Day stamp from Joy's Holiday Occasions stamp set.

Top View:

Close Up of the Sentiment:

I decided to make a pot of gold for my project and I thought a altered paint bucket would be perfect! I made a  little border out of the green plaid paper and used a border punch on it and then attached it to my bucket.  I then cut my cute little leprechaun out of the Simply Charmed cricut cartridge at 3" and popped him up on the front of the bucket with some foam adhesive. For the top of my bucket, I used some spellbinders and then cut my clover out of the Designer's calendar cricut cartridge at 1.25" and popped it up with foam adhesive. I added some pearls around the border of my scallops. I tied a bow to the front of the bucket and added my little tag using the Holiday Occasions stamp set and added some more ribbons to the handle. Then I filled my bucket with some "gold" (Rolo's candies). I think it came out so cute and my hubby is going to enjoy eating all of those rolo's ;)

What's a blog hop without a little candy? I'm going to pick one lucky person to receive
the Holiday Occasions Stamp set from Joy's Life stamps :

All you have to do to be eligible for my prize is to post a comment on this post.

You don't have to be a follower (even though I would love it if you were), but if you are, leave a second comment to give yourself a second chance at winning.

I will pick the winner Tuesday morning, 3-20-12 by using Random.org. Just make sure you leave a way for me to contact you.

Happy Monday!
Today I would like to share a card with you that was made
with the awesome Joy's Life stamps.
This week the designers are showcasing the Holiday and/or Everyday Occasions
stamps. I decided to use the Everyday Occasions stamp set to get a jump
on some graduation cards. My son will be graduating high school this year
and I will be needing some cards for some of his classmates.
This is what I created:

and the sentiment:

I know it looks a bit like Halloween but those are their school colors haha! I cut my graduation cap out of the Locker Talk Cricut cartridge at 2.25" and put it on an action wobble to give it some movement.
